Have you ever found yourself using the expression “hahaha” or “LOL” quite often? That even at serious conversations, you automatically include “haha” at the end of every sentence?
Guilty.
More than the usual funny messages that require those “hahahas”, these expressions can also be considered to be an escape route and oftentimes, people tend to hide behind those “hahaha”. And once you’ve started, clinging on those “hahahas” is a hard habit to break.
Again, guilty.
Could it be because of fear of rejection, fear of creating conflict, or simply to avoid answering awkward, tricky questions?
We all have reasons and excuses for doing the things that we do and saying the things we say but nevertheless, don’t be afraid to express yourself freely. Don’t give a damn on how others will react because you think differently, because you choose to deviate from what society dictates. Never apologize for your brilliance, always listen to that voice within and stand firmly on what you believe in.
